People want to be pampered while on holiday, and they find the best services in top quality hotels. People today have the means to stay in expensive complexes, and are prepared to pay for them.

If hotels were closing down and no new hotels were being built, then it would be a problem. The fact that new hotels are being developed means that the tourism industry is still flourishing.
