The park and ride system has offered drivers the possibility of saving time and money.

To tell you the truth, I was rather sceptical about leaving my car in Blata l-Bajda and then taking the shuttle to Valletta. I was afraid that the transport service offered would not be efficient and reliable.

But I must say that I have so far used the park and ride scheme three times and every time the service was on time. And I say this even for the journey back from Valletta to Blata l-Bajda.

The important thing is that this level of service is maintained. It is only if it remains efficient that people will continue to use the park and ride scheme.
