Melita Cable PLC and Where’s Everybody have condemned some Birkirkara FC fans who caused damage estimated around Lm1,000 to cables and wires of the Outside Broadcasting Unit of Where’s Everybody on Saturday after the Valletta-Birkirkara Premier League match.

They were joined in the condemnation by Stripes chairman Victor Zammit.

In a release issued yesterday the two entities said they hoped the police will be able to identify the perpetrators of this irresponsible act which led to an abrupt end to the live transmission from Ta’ Qali.
