Emirates Airline and McLaren F1 Club (Malta) are hosting the Team McLaren Mercedes MP4/20 Formula One car (photo) in Malta. The Emirates replica showcar is expected to attract hundreds of visitors this weekend at Vault 1, Valletta Waterfront.

Today the Team McLaren Mercedes replica show car will be displayed from 10am to midnight and tomorrow from 10am to 10pm. Racing and motor enthusiasts are invited to view the replica showcar of Emirates, which was flown from Dubai to Malta by Emirates SkyCargo.

Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, has signed on as partner with Team McLaren Mercedes in March 2006. “As an airline closely associated with high-profile sport worldwide, Emirates is very pleased to be involved in Formula One with Team McLaren Mercedes. We are delighted to bring over to Malta the Team McLaren Mercedes showcar of Emirates and to share this experience with McLaren F1 Club (Malta) and ever growing motor enthusiasts in Malta,” said Paul Fleri Soler, Emirates Manager for Malta and Cyprus.

The McLaren F1 Club (Malta) is engaging the services of a professional photographer who will be on site for any photographic requests. Each photograph will be presented on a branded card as a memento of the occasion.
