While the by-pass is out of use for south-bound traffic, is it possible for St Paul’s Bay local council to limit any work that involves reducing traffic to one lane on the main road through the village to real emergencies – such as burst water mains?

On three weekdays in the past week, traffic has been either reduced to one lane or else diverted on to side streets.
