We very often read letters in the press criticising the courts for giving warped sentences, more often than not glorifying the perpetrators instead of punishing them.
It is very rarely, if at all, that we read letters applauding the deeds of those of the judiciary who have the courage to hand down sentences that reflect the crime.
I cannot not mention His Honour Judge Joe Galea Debono as being way above the rest in sentencing as appropriate.
