This is incredible but true! Two weeks ago I was watching a programme on NET TV and participants strongly felt that Government should give parents LM120 vouchers so that they could have the opportunity to send children to independent schools. They argued that everybody should have the same opportunities and make use of

independent schools.

This week, I was watching a programme on ONE TV and participants strongly requested that government should provide free condoms in the same way that it provides free syringes to drug addicts. One participant noted that free condoms are given at Boffa Hospital. However, some complained that one might feel embarrassed to get condoms from Boffa Hospital. So why doesn’t the government send free

condoms to homes?

While we are at it, may I suggest that the government provides free vegetables and free fruit, since they are good for our health.

May I also suggest that government also sends me a Lm 30,000 voucher to buy one of the CHOGM cars since I also feel that I should have the opportunity to buy one.

Ooops, sorry – this Maltese style socialism is getting contagious.
