Police are investigating the theft of mobile cards, cigarettes and a small amount of cash from a Zejtun confectionary shop which took place in the early hours of Monday morning.
The owner discovered the theft when he went to open the shop in the morning.
Duty Magistrate Anthony Vella appointed several experts to help him in the investigation.
