Recently both the President of the MBA Mag. Antonio Mizzi and Secretary General Frank Camilleri (photo) received FIBA appointments.

Ray Mercieca was also nominated in the Finance Commission of FIBA Europe for the term of office 2006 - 2010.

Magistrate Mizzi was appointed as President of the FIBA World Legal Commission for the 2006 - 2010 term of office. He was also elected as Vice President of the Legal Commission of FIBA Europe. In both posts he already served as member for the term of office 2002 – 2006.

Frank Camilleri Secretary General of the MBA was elected as member of the Small Countries Commission of FIBA Europe for 2006 – 2010 term. He has served in this Commission for the beginning in September 2005.

These appointments and elections show the trust that FIBA have in the local officials and also appreciates the contribution given by the officials in the past
