In a second U/19 friendly international played at the Ta’ Qali Training Grounds yesterday, Malta lost to Georgia 2-0.
The Maltese suffered an early goal netted after two minutes and then conceded a second seven minutes after the interval.
Despite playing with a man less after having had a player sent off late in the opening half, Georgia were technically superior and rarely allowed Malta to create any scoring opportunities.
In the first friendly played at the same venue on Tuesday, Malta went down to Georgia by three clear goals.
