Hundreds of people crowded the Bay Street Shopping Complex last weekend to join in the fun during the weekend-long party held to celebrate the complex’s sixth anniversary.

Families visited the Bay Street Complex between 25 and 26 November to participate in the numerous activities that were held between Saturday and Sunday. The sporting and children’s activities during the day were as popular as the music and other entertainment held at the Rotunda with many participating and many others simply enjoying the atmosphere of excitement and celebration that filled the complex .

The weekend celebration included a lot of popular musical entertainment. Performers included the Frenzy Mono Band, Ozzy Lino & his Band, Pitch, the Artisans Band and Tony Grimaud and Band as well as the Star to B participants and the Corinne Turner School of Dance. The activities reached a climax on Sunday with a cake-cutting ceremony. This was followed by the performance of a number of popular singers including Analise and Alison Ellul, Debbie Scerri, the X-Tend Band, Marvic Lewis, J-Anvil, Tristen B, Thea and Friends, duo Natasha & Charlene and Fabrizio Faniello.

The funds collected throughout the weekend at Bay Street were presented to Dar tal-Providenza, Dar il-Wens and to the Cystic Fibrosis Fund.
