The first player to win the Peugeot player of the month for this Season is Hibs’ captain Lucienne Bezzina. She was presented this award by Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, president of the MBA.

During the month of November Hibs won the first honour for this season - the Super Cup. They also reached the MBA Shield final and started the league with three consecutive victories.

Lucienne Bezzina contributed to this success by scoring 113 points. She also had 45 assists and 55 steals making her the leader of assists and the steals in the women’s category so far. She also had 72 rebounds which places her in the eighth place of the top rebounders classification with an average of eight rebounds per game.
