An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen yesterday morning in a daring robbery in Ordnance Street, Valletta.

The police said that at 9.15am, as an employee was entering a van which is used to transport money, two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, held him up and demanded the money. The men made off on the motorbike they were riding, which was later found in Jews Sally Port.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi has appointed several experts to help him draw up a report. The police are investigating.
