Air Malta said that its flights to/from Catania (KM 642/KM 643) on 20 and 27 December will depart earlier than scheduled. Flight KM642 – 20 December will now be departing at 4.20pm instead of 6.30pm, while the return flight KM643 will depart from Catania airport at 6pm instead of 8.05pm.
Flight KM642 – 27 December will be departing at 4.30pm instead of 6.30pm and the return flight KM643 will depart at 6.15pm instead of 8.05pm.
This retiming is due to airport restrictions at Catania following the eruption of Mount Etna. Air Malta would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to its clients as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
