A man was injured during a fight in Iklin yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 3.15pm, when two drivers became involved in a heated argument. It appears that the argument was between a 25-year-old who was driving a Hyundai Accent and a 20-year-old who was driving a Toyota van. The incident occurred in Geronimo Abos Street.

People at the scene said that at one point the argument became so heated that the van driver got out of his vehicle and first started kicking the Accent car and then stabbed the other man with a penknife.

The wounded man was rushed to hospital where his condition was reported to be critical.

The police are still investigating the incident.
