The International Cat Show held at the Coastline Hotel earlier this month was a huge success, with over 1,200

people attending during the two days of the show.

On Saturday, the show had to be postponed for a few hours as one of the judges and the head steward were delayed at Milan airport. The show started at 2pm and went on until 10pm.

The General Best for Saturday was Ch.Dicioto Carati Isidoro. On Sunday the General Best was Micabliss Natalia.

The two foreign judges, Laura Ghirimoldi and Paulo Ruschi, decided to give a special award on Sunday – the Super General Best, which was between Saturday’s and Sunday’s General Best; Micabliss Natalia won this prestigious title. Another award, Best Christmas Kitten, was for kittens participating on both days of the show. On Saturday the judges chose 10 kittens and on Sunday they competed for the title Best Christmas Kitten. The winner was Micabliss Swami. The kitten was presented with a crown brought specially from Italy.

The MFGC will hold another Cat Show on 18 February at the Coastline Hotel. The next International Cat Show will be held on 24 and 25 March at the Westin Dragonara Resort, for which there will be two judges from Belgium.
