Recently I was walking down Mensija Road in San Gwann when I noticed that the local council has erected an inform-ation board giving the existing theories about these furrows or parallel groves in the bare rock, known to us as the “cart ruts”.

At least, after 80 years or so, someone has come up with the idea to present our potential elements to tourists visiting this particular archeological site.

The author of the write-up seems to have carried out very good research.

I personally encourage other bodies with the same potential to follow this initiative.
