Although public information was supposed to be issued by 15 December, nothing has been revealed so far regarding the Privatisation Unit’s call for applications to run the Gas Services, now still part of Enemalta.
Sources in the field now say that while some eight companies expressed interest, final submissions have only been made by three companies – two based in Malta, albeit with foreign partners, and a Cypriot company.
