From Mr A. Brincat
I respect Glorianne Mizzi’s opinion (TMIS, 10 December) and, according to her, that of all tourist guides – as she spoke in their name.
Like everybody else she (they) has a right to her opinion but I am surprised that none of the guides, in whose name she replied, told her that she did not take my point. I suggest she reads my letter again and finds out what I really meant, sarcasm or not – but don’t expect me to reply again.
I know that guides have their reasons to cross as quickly as possible to the sister island, as otherwise they won’t have enough time to take their tourists around the historical places and the so many shops there are waiting to offer the tourists – and the guides – their service and products.
