Over 600 regular diners participating in the annual survey carried out by the Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants rated the Phoenix Restaurant at Le Méridien Phoenicia as “top overall” for Malta on the basis of food, service and ambience.

Although this is the first time that the highest award was won by the Phoenix Restaurant, it represents the seventh consecutive award for Executive Chef Victor Borg. Victor had been awarded the “best in food” for the previous six years for the Mange Tout Restaurant which he owned and managed.

Victor and his brigade have transformed the style of food served at Le Méridien Phoenicia. This is complemented by the level of service ably managed by Jesmond Carachi – Restaurants Operations Manager.

The Pegasus Brasserie was also rated at 10th Overall and eighth best for business entertaining.
