A Mercedes Benz caught fire in Triq Bella Vista in San Gwann early yesterday morning, the police said in a statement.
As a result of the fire, which members of the civil protection department were called to put out, part of the rear of the car that was parked in front of the Mercedes was also damaged.
Nobody was injured in the incident. Duty magistrate Anthony Vella appointed several experts to assist in the inquiry.
