A man who was hit by a car on 21 December as he was crossing St Andrew’s Road in St Julian’s, has succumbed to the injuries he sustained and died, the police said yesterday.
The man, a 43-year-old from Birkirkara, was crossing the road when he was hit by a car being driven by a 24-year-old from Vittoriosa. The police said the man, who had been in the ITU at St Luke’s Hospital, had battled for his life for over a week, but had finally died of his injuries.
