The Ministry of Finance, through the National Lotteries Good Causes Fund, will be donating 2000 match tickets to the Malta Football Youth Nurseries for the forthcoming friendly match between Birkirkara and AC Milan next Tuesday.

The good news was released to the media yesterday during a conference presided by Ministry Parliamentary Secretary Tonio Fenech, accompanied by Chairman of Birkirkirkara FC Victor Zammit as well as Youth FA officials and representatives from the Football Nurseries.

According to Mr Fenech, this is a good opportunity for youngsters to attend this prestigious match as he emphasised the aim of this Fund - it being to finance sports activities and this is a fitting occasion to make it easier for Nursery players to watch great players in action.

The distribution of tickets was made in a systematic way, according to the number of children enrolled in every Nursery. The organisation of this event was undertaken by the Youth FA, with the co-operation of Birkirkara FC.

All children attending at Ta’ Qali will be seated behind the goal post, under the scorebaord, and everyone is encouraged to wear the Nursery track-suit and give the required support. The children will be under adult supervision from the respective Nurseries.
