A young woman was yesterday held-up at gunpoint while walking through the Regional Road Subway in Msida yesterday, the police said.
The 18-year-old, who lives in Tarxien, was walking through the subway at around 1.30pm when an unidentified man tried to snatch her handbag.
She said that at one point the aggressor pointed a gun at her. He then fled the scene.
The police said that she was not injured in the incident.
Police investigations are still under way.
