Milan Visit to Malta: Rossoneri leave Malta today to face Juventus in match for Berlusconi trophy

AC Milan will be leaving Malta this morning on their way to Milan to play the annual match for the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy at San Siro Stadium this evening at 5.

The Italian giants have been in Malta since Tuesday evening for a training camp which will end next Wednesday .

In fact, the Rossoneri contingent, will be back in Malta early tomorrow morning to continue with their training camp which will culminate next Tuesday with the friendly match against local champions Birkirkara at the Ta’ Qali national stadium.

Meanwhile it was announced yesterday on the club’s official website that players Dida, Favalli, Kaladze and Kaka will not be travelling to Milan to play against Juventus. Instead, they will remain training here in Malta.

Accompanying the Rossoneri group to Milan will be a delegation from Birkirkara FC who will be guests of Milan at San Siro, while a group of fans is also travelling on the same plane having bought the package including a ticket for the same match.

The match is the 16th edition of the trophy. It was switched from the summer to the winter this season. Milan trail Juventus by seven wins to eight.
