Maltese multi-percussionist Renzo Spiteri will be joining forces with marimba and vibraphone artiste Dr Dan Moore, to present yet another innovative concert of fusion of musical talent.

The concerts will be held at MITP (Valletta) on 26, 27 and 28 January. Mr Spiteri and Dr Moore performed together in May last year when they were invited to deliver master classes and perform at the China Conservatory of Music (Beijing), one of China's foremost music institutions.

This concert is being presented by Musiconnect (Malta) in collaboration with The University of Iowa (USA) as part of an artiste exchange programme between the two organisations – the artistes will be joining forces again during a US tour to be held at the end of 2007.

Musiconnect's most recent project was the highly successful collaboration with West African kora master N'faly Kouyat Ghat at Verdala Palace (under the distinguished patronage of The President of Malta and Mrs Fenech Adami), and also during the Sori-WOMAD Festival 2006 held in Jeonju (Republic of Korea).
