I am writing on behalf and in the name of my client Alfred Chircop.

Reference is made to a painting entitled “Liberated Soul” by Fabio Borg as it appeared in Gallarija of The Malta Independent on Sunday on Sunday 28 August 2006.

Mr Chircop asserts his moral right over this work since such painting is truly and in actual fact his original work that dates back to 1985. Therefore, as the original creator of the work, Mr Chircop has both a legal and artistic interest to be the sole artist identified with such a painting.
