The General Workers’ Union is continuing with its push to be further involved in the banking sector of Malta by holding a meeting with APS Bank management officials.
The meeting, which the GWU described as cordial, was a forum for discussion of the banking sector in general in Malta and how it is expected to develop in the future.
The bank’s management explained its plans for its employees in the future, while the union assured them of its cooperation in improving the situation for both the bank itself as well as its employees who are members of the union.
The meeting was attended by GWU officials Cory Greenland and Charles Galea, APS Bank CEO Edward Cachia and George Vella and Simon Micallef, also from APS.
