Two cars were gutted by fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning, the police said yesterday. The two fires began between 2.15am and 2.35am, according to the police.
In Ghajn Tuffieha, a Toyota Platz that had been stolen from Zebbug some time earlier, was found burnt.
In the second call, members of the Civil Protection Depart-ment went to Birkirkara after a parked car, a Volkswagen Jetta, caught fire in Triq Fonsu Maria Galea.
No one was injured in either incident.
