The presentation of the silver plates of the Trofeo di Malta to Milan players and coaches had to be re-organised for Wednesday 10 January after having been postponed because of the rain on Tuesday night.

It was held at the Centenary Hall with the courtesy of the Malta Football Association.

Soon after Milan’s last training session, the players, headed by the team director Silvano Ramaccioni, were presented by Mr Emmanuel Peresso, Managing Director of Eurosport, sole distributors for Adidas in Malta, together with Birkirkara chairman Victor Zammit and Mr Michael Peresso, with silver plates to commemorate the occasion.

Also present Mr Fabian Catania – Public Relations Officer of Michele Peresso Group, the Birkirkara FC committee and representatives of the two Milan local fan clubs.

The Trofeo di Malta was presented to Signor Ramaccioni.

Milan players attending the ceremony were: Maldini, Bonera, Cafu, Costacurta, Favalli, Simic, Gourcuff, Pirlo, Boriello, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Oliveira, Grimi and Kaka.

Ramaccioni presented Mr Peresso an official banner of Milan, while Mr Peresso presented three silver Maltese boats, one for Mr Vittorio Mentana, another one for Dr Ramaccioni and a third to Milan President Silvio Berlusconi.
