Malta Independent Sunday, 14 January 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Following the success of the first series last year, Camilleri Wines are again partnering St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity to launch a new series of Intimate Letters that began this week on Thursday at the Auberge de Castille in Valletta.

Camilleri Wines are supporting Intimate Letters with the successful Palatino range of wines. The range has been enjoying a spell of success in the past months especially since the whole range was re-branded last summer.

The innovative series, coordinated by renowned violinist Sarah Spiteri, consists of a series of concerts in the auberges and palaces of Malta featuring works by different composers and linked to intimate letters written by them or to them.

The new series of concerts will be held in the Sala Isouard of the Manoel Theatre on 22 February, the cellars of Auberge d’Italie on 29 March, Auberge d’Aragon on 29 May, the Inquisitor’s Palace at Girgenti on 12 July.

Tickets for Intimate Letters cost Lm6 each (concessions Lm3); there are also two special offers – either any three concerts at Lm15 or all six concerts for just Lm20. Tickets are on sale at St James Cavalier’s booking office – telephone 2122 3200.

Intimate Letters is also being supported by Novartis, Bank of Valletta, Vascas, Portomaso and Go Mobile.
