The Malta Feline Guardians Club will hold the first activity for this year on Sunday 28 January at the Preluna Hotel & Spa, Sliema, with a seminar to start at 3pm.

There will be three different speakers discussing various topics. Dr Ivan Galea, a Veterinary Surgeon; Ms Fiona Picton, an Animal Nutritionist and Ms Aveline Mifsud Farrugia, a Pet Groomer, will all present slide shows and PowerPoint presentations to make this seminar more interesting and informative. Participation in the seminar is free of charge.

The first cat show that the MFGC is holding for this year will be at the Coastline Hotel on Sunday 18 February 2007. During this show cats will be judged by the general public. Sponsors for this show are Gourmet Pearl, supported by Micabliss Persians and Aroma TV programme. Applications for this show are now open.

During this show, the MFGC will be holding a carnival costume competition for all the children between 3pm and 4.30pm. Trophies and gifts will be given to the child with the most original costume. All the children are invited to participate.
