The Malta Billiard and Snooker Association has announced that it will send the Malta national team and the Masters team to take part in the European Teams championship being held between 24 February and 2 March in Gent, Belgium. The players forming part of the national team are Simon Zammit, Duncan Bezzina and Clint Grima.
The MBSA has decided to pay all the costs involved for the national team, including flights and hotel accommodation for nine days, entrance fees, transport from Brussels to Gent and also a pocket money of Lm10 each day for each player.
The players chosen for the Masters team are Frans Mintoff and Tony Mifsud. The association will pay their entrance fees.
The association will also be sending the international referee Paul Galea who will also be the official delegate. The MBSA will compensate Paul Galea during his stay in Belgium by offering Lm10 a day for the expenses involved.
