Five Premier League players were yesterday banned one match each.

They are Ian Azzopardi and Manolito Micallef of Floriana, Diego Armando Cucciardi of Marsa, Justin Haber of Marsaxlokk and Edward Herrera of Pieta H.

Only one player from the first division, Jonathan Francica of Tarxien received a one match ban this week.

But there were seven second division players who received the ban. They are Sergio Cappitta of Balzan, Christopher Mifsud Bonnici and Jacques Scerri of Melita, Joseph Caruana of Rabat, Jonathan Briscoe White of St Andrew’s, Sandro Rapinett and Dylan Mercieca of St Venera.

In the third division, the following were banned one match: Luke Borg of Attard, Adriano Fenech of Pembroke, Adrian Paul Galea of Sirens, Charles Agius of Ta’ Xbiex, Kevin Naudi of Qrendi and Jeffrey Camilleri of Zurrieq.
