Executive Development programme

Malta Independent Friday, 19 January 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

To be one of tomorrow’s successful leaders requires one to be both a specialist and a generalist. The manager or leader of the future must look at all aspects of their position within the organisation and must seek to enhance their strengths while controlling their weaknesses.

Executive Development is a highly relevant, practical training programme aimed towards managers and executives from any area of business who wish to develop their personal skills and improve their overall effectiveness, both of which are absolute essentials in today’s demanding environment.

Delegates will be equipped with the skills necessary to be creative thinkers, successful decision makers, communicators and organisers, underpinned by increased self knowledge and enhanced interpersonal skills. Participants will hence be able to discover and analyse their innate potential and learn how to build on this, so as to enhance their executive performance.

The trainer of this programme is Philip Bourne, an associate trainer with MISCO who has vast experience in training provision. In 1984 he became Director of Management Training and three years later, Main Board Director of TACK Training International, one of UK’s largest training organisations. In 1996 he set up his own business in association with TACK, providing training to overseas associates, and was appointed Associate Director of MISCO-TACK Training Europe in 1996. Philip has been visiting Malta and running Management Development Training Prog-rammes for MISCO since 1989. His vast experience, combined with his enthusiasm and unique training style, make his courses not only informative but also an experience which is not easily forgotten.

The upcoming Executive Development Programme will be delivered at MISCO on 29 and 30 January.
