Police yesterday arrested a 31-year-old man from Qormi after a substantial amount of cocaine was found in his car.
Following a tip-off, plain-clothes policemen followed the man and found the cocaine after a search of his car.
The police also found cocaine and weighing scales in the man’s garage in Qormi.
Duty Magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed experts to help in the inquiry.
The man will be arraigned in the coming days, the police said.
