Calleja Sings at Champs Elysée tomorrow

Maltese international star Joseph Calleja is to sing at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris tomorrow evening with soprano Patricia Cioffi as part of the “Grandes Voix” series.
An article in Le Figaro referred to the Maltese tenor as “the Maltese song-bird” saying that he is more Luciano Pavarotti than Placido Domingo due to the clarity and timbre of his voice. The article also refers to his “triumph” as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto at the Metropolitan.
