Malta Independent Sunday, 21 January 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

The Labour Party yesterday presented the final version of three more policy documents as approved by the national executive and parliamentary group on the self-employed, agriculture, fisheries and cooperatives.

Labour proposes to offer self-employed sites for their ventures and a substantial venture capital. It also promises to cut down on bureaucracy and taxes and increase efficiency.

As regards agriculture, Labour proposes an ever better quality of produce and better marketing of Maltese products as well as the development of agro-tourism.
