Mellieha-born Alex Borg won his first round qualifier against Paul Davison 5-4 yesterday to reach the second round which is to be played today.

Borg will now meet Jamie Burnett this morning.

In the evening, Tony Drago will also be in action. He will be playing against Lee Spick in another second round qualifier. Spick eliminated Jeff Cundy yesterday, winning the clash 5-3.
