At first I thought that my friend was only trying to pull my leg! But when I saw the prominence given by the Malta Labour Party/General Workers’ Union media to the very positive outcome of the SmartCity record investment, I had to admit that my friend was after all correct.

In fact, he had assured me that as soon as Minister Austin Gatt disclosed the positive conclusion of the agreement, there were so many euphoric celebrations at the Workers’ Memorial Building and at the Centru Laburista that they ran short of champagne.

But with a little tbazwir here and a little tbazwir there they managed to procure several more crates to help them continue with their joyful celebrations.
