Martial Arts: Taekwondo Dragon Club Hold annual meeting 2006

The Taekwondo Dragon Club held its annual general meeting for the year 2006 on Saturday 20 January 2007 at St.Martin’s College.

Several parents and students were present for the meeting. Mr Formosa, the club president, conducted his presentation, featuring the achievements and accomplishments that occurred during the previous year.

He continued by presenting the calendar of events for the year 2007. He announced the expansion of the club with another branch in the Vittoriosa area for the general public.

Formosa will be holding regular sessions at St Edward’s College as part of the Extra Curriculum of activity of the college. He ended up by presenting plaques to Joseph Azzopardi for his 2nd Dan achievement and for his work at the St. Martin’s College Taekwondo Section.

To Josef Spiteri for achieving his 1st Dan and for his assistance during training sessions. To Adrian Camilleri for his assistance as Event Director and finally to Mrs Josianne Formosa for her hard work in the administration and for achieving her 2nd Dan.

The club is going to start giving 3 extra lessons for those aged between 5 to 10 years of age at St Martin’s College.
