Past winners will be among the sporting personalities presenting trophies to the winners in the final event of the Ghazliet Sportivi Nazzjonali organised by the sportwriters association.

Ex-waterpolo player Berti Muscat, winner in 1969 will be presenting the best male athlete of the year.

The female athlete of the year will be awarded by Angela Galea, whilst Pippo Psaila winner of the official of the year award in 1990, will award the best team of the year.

The official of the year award will be presented by ex-referee Joe Cassar Naudi, with the youth athlete of the year presented by Vivian Debattista widow of the late John Debattista, ex-secretary of the Ghaqda Kittieba Sports.

Meanwhile in a statement issued yesterday, The Ghaqda Kittieba Sports said that around 60 per cent of its members had already cast their votes in this 46th edition of the contest. The voting will close today.
