Isabelle’s singing career started at the age of eight years. She started singing at concerts and various competitions, obtaining positive results. Isabelle also took part in several musicals.
In 2005, Isabelle launched her CD single, Be My Butterfly. This song made it to the TOP 10 on Broadjam.com, placing seventh.
When she was younger, Isabelle was chosen to represent Malta in international festivals. In 2002, she made it to The Golden Star in Bucharest, Romania, where she won The Special Prize of the Children’s Jury with the song Our World. In 2003, she participated in the International Nile Song Festival in Cairo, Egypt, where she won the first F.I.D.O.F. Award, with the song Walk With Me To Heaven, from among more than 40 participants. In 2004, she was chosen once again to participate in The Golden Star, this time singing Don’t Break My Heart.
Besides singing, Isabelle studies piano and plays the guitar.
2006 was the best year for Isabelle in the Maltese music scene. In May she made it to the Finals of Ghanja tal-Poplu out of 151 entries.
She sang Dak Bla Glekk written and composed by Augusto Cardinali and she won the Best Interpretation Award and placed second. In September, Isabelle made it to the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza (Independence Festival), singing Ghanjet il-Malti in a trio together with J. Anvil and Claire Caruana.
In October, Isabelle was also one of the semi-finalists in The Malta International TV Song Festival with the song Nifs.
Isabelle’s ballad, My Love has now made it to the Malta Song finals. It was written and composed by the duo Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg.
