A 23-year-old man from Birzebbuga was yesterday charged with damaging a car, offending its owner, breaching the peace and relapsing.

Before Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, Robert Ciantar pleaded not guilty to damaging an Opel Corsa in Qormi to the detriment of Alfred Falzon on 26 May last year.

He is also pleading not guilty to offending Mr Falzon, breaching the peace and relapsing.

Police Inspector Johann Fenech is prosecuting, while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Charmaine Cherrett are appearing for the accused.
