I would like to take the opportunity to welcome new Archbishop Mgr Paul Cremona as leader of the Maltese Church.

I wish him good health and the wisdom to lead the Maltese Catholics towards a better life and a better understanding of Christ’s teachings. I would also like to thank Archbishop Emeritus Mgr Joseph Mercieca for his contribution in his 30 years as head of the Maltese Church.
