The Malta International Airport in conjunction with the Manoel Theatre is holding a chamber music concert next Wednesday at the Sala Isouard at 7.30pm.

The programme includes a partite by J. S. Bach, a Polish Caprice by G. Bacewics, La Cadenza by H. Wieniawski, a Terzetto for two violins and viola by Dvorak and a R. Schumann quintet for piano and string quartet.

Cynthia Turner will be the pianist in the Schumann quintet.

The other players include:

• Wolfgang Klos, professor of viola at the Music University of Vienna, plays a viola built by Giovanni Battista Ceruti in 1780.

• Endfre Kertesz, born in Budapest, currently a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

• Marianna Oczkowska, born in Warsaw, also studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, and

• Japanese Sayaka Iwabuchi, born in Sapporo and a past student of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
