Popular Romanian singer Mihai will be the star attraction at the BayStreet Complex today.

Romanian heart-throb Mihai, who had a big hit with the song Tornero at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, will be joining Maltese singer Tristan B in a concert at the Bay Street Complex which starts at 4.30pm immediately before the first ever ESCMALTA Eurovision Song Contest pre-festival party. Also participating will be local trio Trilogy, made up of singers Roger Tirazona, Eleanor Spiteri and Cliff Zammit.

The Eurovision Song Contest pre-festival party starts at 6pm, and launches the 2007 MSFE week. Eurovision fans will be able to meet the 16 participants of the festival and also listen to their festival song.

Besides the 16 participants, special guests to the party include J. Anvil, one of the presenters of this year’s festival, and the young group SHE2s.
