Matthew Asciak, who won the Under 21 athlete of the Year award in the national contests last Saturday, is currently in Switzerland taking part in another junior world ranking tournament.

The tournament is being held in Leuggern. He is accompanied by Predrag Simovic from Serbia.

Matthew hopes to improve his world ranking of 224. On 11 February Asciak will start playing in the Italian league where he will play for Tennis Club Montekatira. On 19 February he will travel to Holland to play in another junior tournament in Almere.

The young Asciak is sponsored by German airline Lufthansa.
