The winners and runners-up of the first edition of The Model Shop Junior Open were recently presented with their trophies at a reception held at the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club.

The tournament, sponsored by The Model Shop Co.Ltd. of Birkirkara Bypass, Iklin was held under the auspices of the Malta Tennis Federation and was an open ranking event for junior players between the ages of 10 and 16.

The winners were: Clayton Zammit (Boys Under 16), Omar Sudzuka (Boys Under 14), Patrick Georgiev (Boys Under 12), Bernard Cassar Torregiani (Boys Under 10), Brenda Galea (Girls Under 14 and Under 12), and Maria Giorgia Farrugia Sacco (Girls Under 10).
