Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd and Atlas Healthcare Insurance Agency, agents for AXA PPP healthcare, have announced their participation in the FAIR initiative that seeks to ensure fairness and transparency in the pricing of services during the changeover to the new currency.

In a statement, Atlas underlined its commitment to safeguarding consumers as one of the main aspects of its Customer Care Charter.

All insurance systems are now fully compliant with the dual display requirements set out by the initiative, following the development and implementation of new systems in 2006.

The company is also training its staff in view of the changeover to the euro, scheduled for January 2008.

“As a leading financial services organisation, we are enthusiastic about our participation in the FAIR initiative and we are convinced that this is a very positive step towards the smoothest possible changeover to the new euro currency,” said Catherine Calleja, director of the Atlas and member of the Atlas Euro Changeover Project Board.
